The Logistics Operations Center (CeOL) has been created with the aim of conducting research on the design, management, control, and improvement of logistics processes. For this, the CeOL carries out technical-scientific studies to generate improvement proposals that benefit the region.

CeOL works in line with the "Supply Chain and logistics excellence" (SCALE) network for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specifically in the following lines of research:

1. Innovation in education related to Supply Chain Management (SCM).

2. Sustainability in Supply Chains.

3. Urban logistics and last mile operations.

4. SCM for food and agribusiness.
