The Control Center and Monitoring of Satellites (COMS) has as objectives the following activities:

•   Satellites data collection (telemetry).
•   Downloading of satellite images in real time
•   Collaborate with the acquisition of satellite data for different space missions worldwide.
•   Collaborate in international space projects promoted by SGAC and SatNOGS.
•   Provide practical support in the area of telecommunications to the electronic engineering and telecommunications career.
•   To promote space research at the University.

COMS is part of the SatNOGS network (Satellite Networked Open Ground Station - Global Network of Satellite Ground Stations).
