Ephemeris iuris studiorum is a yearly publication which will be available in print and electronic formats, which aims to disseminate state-of-the-art research on legal topics. Ephemeris is a Latin term derived from the Greek roots ἐπί, which means “above,” and ἡμέρα, meaning “day.” Thus, the title conveys the notion of a publication that is “up to date,” containing the latest information and advancements in legal studies.​
