Mariana Lacunza

Career: She specializes in the area of Cultural Studies, with an emphasis on Latin American film and literature. She has written about how digital support in Bolivian cinema is being used for contemporary reconfiguration of communities and subjectivities. In this sense, in The Routledge Companion to Latin American Cinema, it detects how the efforts of TAFA, a film collective, provides a different look and cinema as opposed to audiovisual productions made by indigenous people and community organizations. Founder of the Transmedia Communication Laboratory (LCT) and researcher of the (LIComH) Laboratory in Research in Communicational and Humanities Studies has published for the Journal Research and Development of the UPB and is co-author of a contemporary Bolivian film book, together with Dr. Andrés Laguna. She is currently a member of the LASA (Latin American Studies Association) and SCMS (Society for Cinema and Media Studies) and researches the work of the Bolivian group SocavonCine, raising the possibility of a collective author cinema that explores marginal subjectivities around the use of digital media. She teaches the courses of Screenplay, Intercultural Communication and Globalization, Contemporary Literature, Storytelling and Image Language.
Andrés Laguna Tapia
Training: Degree in Philosophy and Letters (Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo"), Master in Latin American Studies (the University of Barcelona, Autonomous University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University) and Doctor of the program "Society and Culture" (University of Barcelona).
Position: Head of the Research Laboratory in Communication and Humanities of the Bolivian Private University
Courses: Political Philosophy, Political Communication, Art Analysis, Latin American Art and Culture, Research Methods and Techniques, Research for Communication, and Contemporary Literature.
Career: He was editor of the cultural supplement "Ramona" of the newspaper Opinión, coordinator of the International Film Festival of Huesca, and jury of different film and literature contests. He has published texts on film, literature, politics and new communication technologies in different books, academic journals, and media in Bolivia, Spain, France, Ecuador, and the United States.
Xavier Jordán
Training: Bachelor of Social Communication and Master in University Education
Position: Teacher
Courses: Communication Theories, Bolivian History, Philosophy of Art, and Contemporary Critical Study
Career: He is the founder of the Cultural Forum of Cochabamba and the College of Communicators of Cochabamba, has been appointed Honorary Academic of the Academy of Military History of Bolivia, and has represented the country in international events in Peru, Brazil, and Cuba. His work has been published in several academic journals, he is a contributor to the cultural supplements of Los Tiempos and Opinión and has published four books.
Luis Rodríguez
Name: Luis Fernando Rodríguez Camacho
Training: Degree in Social Communication from UCB Cochabamba, Master in Theory and Practice of Documentary Film from the UAB, Barcelona.
Position: Teacher.

Career: Cultural journalist, first Bolivian podcaster, vinyl record collector, audiovisual filmmaker, organizer of cultural events, co-director and presenter of the radio programs "La Música Que Escuchan Todos" (2007-2009) and " Fuera de Sector". Member of the editorial board of the magazine Punto Cero (2007-2009), writer and editor of the music area of the supplement "La Ramona" of the newspaper Opinión (2007-2011). Winner of FOCCA with the documentary " Posguerra" (GAMC 2015)
Luis Brun
Position: Head of the Transmedia LCT Communication Laboratory
Training: Degree in Social Communication. Specialty in Film, Video and Television Production
Courses: Design of graphic communication, multimedia, and communication technologies. Audiovisual Creation Workshop II
Career: Producer and film filmmaker with various works of fiction and documentary, short films and feature films broadcast at national and international festivals, university teacher since 2008, film critic and researcher in visual communication, has published his articles and essays in newspapers, magazines dedicated in visual studies and film analysis.
Cecilia Romero
Position: Teacher
Courses: Sociology, Speech Analysis, Semiotics, Written Communication, Publications Editing, and Communication Theories.
Career: She has published books in countries such as Croatia, Venezuela, Mexico, Bolivia, and Ecuador. Author of the books " El grito de la mariposa" and " Entre las horas". Winner of the National Short Story Award Adela Zamudio and the "Dante Alighieri" Award for the best book published together with the editorial team of Nuevo Milenio. She works as a designer and illustrator of covers of various literary publications, she is also a content editor for academic books. She has taught creative writing and storytelling workshops. She was a member of the Editorial Committee of the newspaper Cono Sur Ñapaqman. She has collaborated as a columnist for media such as "Atar a la rata", "La Ramona" in Opinión, and "Página 7". She is currently a teacher, producer and writes the column "From the Ashes" in the newspaper "Los Tiempos".
Mónica Luján
Training: Degree in Social Communication from the Bolivian Catholic University "San Pablo”.
Position: Professor and Head of Communication of Academic Vice-Chancellor of the Private University of Bolivia.
Courses: Management and Planning of Advertising Media and Corporate Communication.
Career: I started in the world of journalism in 1999 as part of the writing team on the journal Los Tiempos. In 2005 I became part of the OH! magazine staff, as Trend Editor. For 11 years I wrote notes on health, psychology, and fashion, among others. Then I was Content Editor of the magazine M de Mujer.
Since 2017 I started consulting in communication and content, current experiences and that led me to acquire more knowledge related to new media and new ways of doing journalism. I am currently also Co-Director of the digital magazine AJÁ.
Before I worked in the media I had been part of the sales team at Entel and in the UPB in the Marketing department
Marisol Méndez

Trajectory: Since graduation, Marisol Mendez has been part of several exhibitions in Argentina and Europe including Look Photo Biennial 2019 and Nasty Women Liverpool. Her work has been published in platforms such as The British Journal of Photography, Vogue Italia, Ain't Bad, and The Independent Photographer. Her essay El mediodía nietzscheano was published by the Journal of Social Sciences of the University of Palermo.
David Antonio Canizares
Training: Degree in Social Communication and Specialty in Management and Production stop film and television. Experience in audiovisual and film production as a consultant and as a plant member for private companies, social institutions and organizations, and non-governmental organizations since 2005. Founder of the house of audiovisual production and digital art "the island", in exercise since 2012.

Lesly Moyano
Training: Graduated in Fine Arts and graduated in Curatorship of Contemporary Art and Artistic and Contemporary Photography, graduated in Higher Education by competence and certified as a photojournalist by the Ministry of Education of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

Career: Member of the first collective of Bolivian photographers War-Mi Photo with whom he has hosted the first international photographic residence in Bolivia's gender perspective in 2019 and currently managing the 2020 version.
